The Jamie Maag collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Maag and Melissa Cornelius in October 2007. Maag attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2004-2008. In this interview, Maag talks about her experiences as a student at Minnesota State Mankato, including where she lived while attending college, where she worked, the hardest things about college, her plans after college, and technology in the classrooms.
This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Jamie Maag was born April 2, 1983 in Long Beach, California. Maag attended Apple Valley High School in Apple Valley, Minnesota and graduated in 2001. After high school, Maag attended Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota where she completed her general education classes and received an associate degree. She began at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2004 and majored in speech communications and minored in marketing. She graduated in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Speech Communication.
