The Jessica Hughes collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Hughes and Joseph Peterson in October 2007. Hughes attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2004-2008. In this interview, Hughes talks about her decision to attend college, where she lived during college, the types of jobs she held, what are normal school week is like for her, her academic career, her favorite professors, and her plans after graduation.
This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Jessica Hughes was born Oct. 5, 1985 in Edina, Minnesota. Hughes attended Anoka High School in Minnesota and graduated in 2004. She attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2004 to 2008 where she majored in speech communication and minored in sociology. Hughes graduated May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Speech Communication.
