The Kimberly Halpin collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Halpin and Cynthia Posner in October 2007. Halpin attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2006-2019. In this interview, Halpin talks about why she chose Minnesota State Mankato, her earliest memories about the university, where she lived while attending the university, and what jobs she has held.
This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Kimberly Halpin was born Dec. 26, 1983 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating high school, Halpin attended Anoka Ramsey Community College from 2002 to 2005 and received an associate degree. Halpin then attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2006 to 2009 where she majored in speech communication and minored in sociology. In May 2009, she graduated Magna Cum Laude (with great honor) with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Speech Communication.
