The Cynthia Posner collection consists of a biographical form and an audio CD and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Posner and Kimberly Haplin October 2007. Posner attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2003-2007. In this interview, Posner talks about her decision to attend college, receiving financial aid and scholarships, types of jobs she held, favorite Alpha Phi Omega memories, the honors she received, and her plans after graduation.
This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Cynthia Posner was born April 13, 1983 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Posner attended Spring Lake Park High School in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota and graduated in 2001. After high school, Posner attended Anoka Ramsey Community College from 2001 to 2003. She then attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2003 to 2007 where she majored in speech communication. Posner was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, Residence Hall Association, Lambda Pi Eta, and speech club. In December 2007, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Speech Communication.
