Construction on the Ford Hall addition in front of the Trafton Science Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato, 2006-12-13.
The Ford Hall addition included a telecommunications lab with a roof top antenna array, a wind tunnel lab, a vibration testing lab, mechanical engineering labs and a clean room. The Ford Hall wing of Trafton was a 67,000-square-foot, $32.5-million building started in 2006 and completed in fall 2008. It’s the largest building project in the history of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. The Chemistry & Geology Department in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology are also located there.
