The Nathan Winterhalter collection consists of an audio recording, biographical form, and transcript of an oral history interview conducted between Winterhalter and Zeara Alvarez in April 2011. Winterhalter attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2009-2011. In this interview, Winterhalter talks about coming to Minnesota State University, Mankato, his work, and favorite professors.
This oral history interview was conducted as part of the Tell Your MSU Story Oral History Project conducted by the Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Nathan Winterhalter was born in 1990 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Winterhalter graduated from Maple Grove High School in 2009, and then attended Minnesota State University, Mankato for the pre-nursing program. Winterhalter never lived in the dorms, choosing to live off-campus for his time at Minnesota State University, Mankato. While attending Minnesota State University, Mankato, Winterhalter worked his first year at McDonalds in town, and then worked in the University Archives.
